Do my guests need to install anything or create an account?
No. They scan the QR code and the album opens in their phone’s browser, on iPhone and Android alike. No app, no account, no password — which is why it works for your least technical guests too.
When do I create the album, and how do I hand out the QR code?
Create it as soon as you have a date: it’s free and it sits ready. Download the QR code from the album and print it on menus, table cards, or a sign next to the guest book.
Does this replace the photographer?
No — it completes them. Your photographer does their job; the album collects what they can’t see: inside every table, getting ready at home, what happened at the bar. The photos that would otherwise stay scattered across a hundred phones.
Can I project the photos during the reception?
Yes. The album has a live slideshow: connect it to a screen or projector and photos appear as guests upload them.
Who can see the album?
Only someone with your QR code or link. The album doesn’t appear on Google or any search engine, and there are no public profiles inside Fotara.
How much does it cost for a wedding?
Starting is free with no card: up to 150 memories and one month of album. For a wedding, Max ($69 USD, one-time) keeps the album for three years with unlimited memories. Never a subscription, and your guests never pay.
